ABSTRACT OF THE WEEK
 Curative effect of topical treatment of digital dermatitis with a gel containing activated copper and zinc chelate.
The cure rate at day 28 of the painful ulcerative stage of bovine digital dermatitis lesions treated with a water-based gel with active components copper and zinc was 0.92 and was significantly better than for the lesions treated with the chlortetracycline spray, which was 0.58.
